Moving Gemma Take Two

September 30th saw me moving Gemma again.  Things aren't always as they seem.  I made the decision a week and a half before I moved her.  I'm very glad that I did and also thankfully found a barn that I really liked.  It's also ten miles closer and has much better movement options for her.

Drawing Diary for October

October saw a bit more time and energy for creative pursuits and with it being Inktober I decided to participate as I had time.  Now if you follow me on Instagram you have already seen all of these.  Please excuse my lack of being able to word/write well, I am still fighting a cold and am not feeling what is my normal.

GW2: Path of Fire Impressions

It's been just over a month since Guild Wars 2 Path of Fire released and before it gets any older I thought I'd finally sit down to write out a few of my initial impressions of the expansion.  I won't go into super detail on some things (i.e. mounts) because they can actually be a post all their own.

Moving Gemma

As of September 2cnd Gemma now lives at a new barn.  It feels like a lifetime ago that I came to the difficult decision to do so after much prayer, thinking, and talking complaining about the drive to the previous.

Drawing Diary for August

August was a busy month both full of good things and things that were difficult to deal with.  This made it troublesome to find much time to sit down and try to art but I did get a bit of time in and some things to show for the month.

GW2: Five Years Later

As of Monday Guild Wars 2 officially launched five years ago or for those of us who pre-purchased (mine was gifted to me by a friend) it launched last Friday.  Personally I can't believe it's been five years already and besides a seven month break from early January 2013 to July 2014, I've played fairly regularly.  It's not the longest I've played an MMO for Dungeons and Dragons online holds that place for a couple more years but I think it's the one I've enjoyed the most.

DIY Watercolor Palette

When I started looking for a set of transparent watercolors, one of my biggest deciding factors of what to buy was based on how the palette or container looked.  I finally decided on the Windsor Newton Cotman 24 half pans set (I actually ordered mine from DickBlick though because they were half the price).  I liked the colors that came in the set, I was familiar with many of the names from my oil painting days, and I like that it came with a lot of mixing space that stored inside the container with the paints.
